It is a known news that some agitators protested against Mega Prince Varun Tej's Valmiki film title. Finally, the makers had to get their film's title changed as Gaddalakonda Ganesh.
According to the reports, there is a conspiracy involved against the film. A YSRCP MP named Kiladi Mangaiah (name changed) is said to have conspired at Delhi level on the issue. At last, team Valmiki had to get their film title changed inevitably.
But then, leaving a huge jolt to those agitators and MP Mangaiah, Valmiki is spinning huge money setting the box office on fire. The film which accumulated Rs.6.47 crores world wide share on the first day, is running with super strong collections on day two. As such, it's understood that the title change has zero impact on the film's opening collections. In contrast, audience might have got sympathy on film's team.
According to the latest reports, MP Mangaiah put his head down in shame in closed doors at his house and is not making public appearance so as not to show his shameful face to the people. On the other hand, the protesters, who are mostly jobless lazy people, are humiliated with the movie's opening collections.
All in all, it's a grand victory for Valmiki's makers winning over film title's agitators with the extremely good opening collections. However, the film has to record steady collections in week days to reach break even at the earliest.
