Director Harish Shankar shot to fame with Power Star Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster Gabbar Singh. He is now directing Mega Prince Varun Tej in Valmiki, a remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda.
Meanwhile, Harish Shankar revealed how he took his revenge. When asked whether he rued being a ghostwriter as others took credit for his work, he said, "I was happy that others liked my work. I never used to think that others are snatching my credit.
Producers provided me AC room, three DVDs every day and asked me to watch and also provided food. So I was happy with it. However, a couple of them used me completely and did not give money."
He further said, "One of them plunged into financial crisis. On one occasion I helped him financially and took my revenge".
Starring Pooja Hegde and Atharvaa Murali in other lead roles, Valmiki which is facing title controversy will hit the screens on 20th of this month.
