Of late few Tollywood producers seems to be missing the logic in reel and real life by the way they are talking. Producers are ruing that movie lovers are not watching their films without realising that they are compromising on quality giving importance to content.
Everyone is now becoming dependent on Web Media and even top print and electronic media is giving importance to webmedia. Few producers are commenting as though Web Media is dependent on their ads and it is objectionable to write negative reviews about their films.
But this is far from reality. As a matter of fact, for Web Media ads given by producers are not important. They have ways to generate revenue through various other means once they get acceptance from the readers. If webmedia write favorable reviews getting carried away by the ads given by the producers, readers may believe at the first instance but afterward stop visiting their websites. This has been proven many times.
If few websites are still in the business winning the loyalty of the readers, it is due to their honesty and not due to the ads that are given by the producers for two to three days ahead of their film releases. The final twist is those producers who are making such comments are those who stopped producing films few decades back.
