It is known that Ram Charan's entry into Bollywood turned out to be a disaster. Charan tried to win the hearts of Bollywood audience with Zanjeer, remake of Big B Amitabh Bachchan's iconic hit Zanjeer. Not only the film bombed, critics slammed Ram Charan for his wooden face and expressionless performance. Even Priyanka Chopra admitted that doing Zanjeer was a mistake.

Bollywood scribes asked Ram Charan about his intentions to make a comeback in B-Town. Ram Charan replied that he is very much eager and is waiting for the right story and script to do the same. He however added that one can consider his upcoming multi starrer RRR with NTR under Rajamouli's direction to be his comeback film. It is known that RRR is getting filmed in various languages.

Scribes then trained their guns on Chiranjeevi. They asked why he did not make comeback in Bollywood though he made his presence felt with films like Pratibandh (1990) (remake of Ankusam), Aaj Ka Goodaraj (1991) (remake of Gang Leader) and The Gentleman (1992) (remake of Gentleman).

Chiranjeevi wondered why it took so long for him for a comeback but felt that during that time he did not get the right script. He also added that in between he got busy with Telugu films and then entered into politics.
