A never witnessed anti-incumbency led TDP lost the power with a humiliating defeat in the electoral battle. Besides, Ysrcp shocked everyone winning the battle with a humongous majority in the elections. The party won 151 MLA seats and 22 MP seats.

The CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared most promising in the first three weeks of his administration. However, the graph has been falling gradually thereafter.

It's being alleged by YCP's rival parties that rowdyism got prevailed in every nook and corner of the state. There are regular power cuts which made especially the villagers irked with the government. Polavaram construction is halted. Some of the election promises were comfortably broken by the government while 'Grama Volunteer' system appears to be intensifying village politics rather the development.

At this framework, a reliable survey agency from East Godavari conducted a survey on the current trends of AP politics and the administration of YS Jagan. Much to Ysrcp's embarrassment, the results came against their favour. The survey report says Ysrcp would lose 70 MLA seats if the elections are held right now. Altogether, the party wins around 80 seats.

It can't be said whether the survey is purely authentic or not. But then, the ongoing trends surely conveys alarming signals to the ruling government of AP.
