Nagarjuna Completes Double Hat Trick

Nagarjuna was one of the top stars in Tollywood in his heydays in late 80s and 90s. But, of late, he is making the wrong choices in choosing stories. Soggade Chinni Nayana released in 2016 was the last super hit of Nagarjuna who later starred in several flop to utter flop movies such as Oopiri, Om Namo Venkatesaya, Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Officer and Devadas.

With Manmadhudu 2 getting lukewarm response at box office, Nagarjuna completes double hat trick of flops with the Rahul Ravindran directed film. Manmadhudu 2 has posted below par numbers in its first weekend. And booking are very poor on Monday, despite having the advantage of Bakrid Holiday.

Although made on decent budget and theatrical rights were sold for reasonable prices, Manmadhudu 2 with unanimous negative talk is failing to rake even decent collections. In USA, in its first weekend, Manmadhudu 2 raked nearly $215K. S, the film is going to be a huge loss maker for overseas buyers.

Not just common audience, even Akkineni fans are also not pleased with the content. They are requesting Nagarjuna to pick some good and family entertainers for his next.

Currently, Nagarjuna is working for a Bollywood film Brahmastra and his next will be Bangarraju, prequel to his blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana.
