Balakrishna Out! Only Sarileru Vs AA19!

Until a few days ago, it was heard that Prince Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru, Stylish Star Allu Arjun-Trivikram's untitled film and Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna and KS Ravi Kumar combo film would be releasing for Sankranthi, 2020. 

However, the regular shoot of Balakrishna's film has been delayed as Balakrishna suggested some changes in the script of the film to the makers. Owing to insufficient time to can the film in a stipulated period, the film had to get its release date deferred inevitably. As such, the film will only release after Sankranthi. 

Eventually, it would be a face off between Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun for Sankranthi season. Team AA19 have recently announced the release date of the film as Sankranthi, 2020 officially and team SN announced the same long back. 

Interestingly, both SN and AA19 are being made as family entertainers with due importance being given to comedy. While Mahesh Babu sports a military officer in SN, AA19 deals with a family drama that has characters of three generations. 

It's now crystal clear no straight Telugu film would lock horns with SN and AA19. But then, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's dubbed film Darbar may also join Sankranthi frey. Given the fallen market status of Rajini in Telugu states, Darbar can't compete SN and AA19.
