Maverick director Puri Jagannadh has made his fans and movie admirers gone ecstatic with his comeback film iSmart Shankar. Puri carved a niche of himself, showcasing his typical styling of heroism's depiction in the film. 

Needless to say, top mass heroes could have turned Fidaa seeing Energetic Star Ram's characterisation in iSmart Shankar. 

Puri, however, appeared to have lost his Midas Touch with his recent offings such as Jyosthilakshmi, Loafer, Ism, Rogue, Paisa Vasool and Mehbooba. Finally, he has struck back with iSmart Shankar post the success of Temper. 

Puri Jagannadh made his debut in 2000 as a director with a blockbuster film Badri featured by Power Star Pawan Kalyan. From then on irrespective of hits and flops, Puri ensured at least a single movie released in every calendar year. That's the fair indication of Puri's energy levels. And that's why, fans and movie lovers are calling him, "Puri! Nuvvu Turumu". 

Meanwhile, iSmart Shankar has crossed Rs.30 crores world wide share and is likely to join Rs.40 crore club by its full run.
