Secret Behind Balayya Blockbuster Title

Natasimha Balakrishna set a trend with high voltage mass faction entertainer Samara Simha Reddy directed by B Gopal. Balakrishna's powerful dialogues, power-packed performance and Simran, Anjala Jhaveri's glamour treat thrilled movie lovers a lot.

Samara Simha Reddy's success inspired many Tollywood stars and filmmakers to come with similar faction based entertainers. But, very few people know that, makers initially did not plan to name the film as Samara Simha Reddy.

Vijayaendra Prasad penned story while Paruchuri brothers came with powerful dialogues. Vijayendra Prasad named the story as Samara Simham but Paruchuri brothers did not agree.

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna revealed the reason saying, “Simham vetadutundi... Samara Simha Reddy aite vadilestadu” and convinced the makers. At first producer, Chengala Venkataravo too did not agree for the title. However, Paruchuri brothers convinced him and got the film named as Samara Simha Reddy.

Paruchuri earlier revealed that even the then Home Minister Paritala Ravi too suggested regarding the film.
