Pokiri Unknown Secret Revealed

Puri Jagannath is keeping his fingers crossed as his upcoming entertainer iSmart Shankar starring Ram, Nabha Natesh and Nidhi Agerwal is slated for a grand release on July 18th.

Puri is confident that since the film got A certificate, it will be another blockbuster in the lines of Mahesh Babu's Businessman and Allu Arjun's Desamuduru which too got A certificates and did well at the box office.

Speaking to scribes, Puri revealed unknown secrets of his blockbuster Pokiri with Mahesh Babu. He said, “While narrating Pokiri story to Mahesh, when he heard the climax twist he got super excited. But I was a bit tensed during the climax shoot. The twist will be revealed after the first show and people will see Mahesh as police officer on screen and whether they experience the same thrill or not. But people forgot the twist and enjoyed the film. Mahesh appears in Khaki colors only once in this film. I did `not allow the still photographer to the sets as I feared that Mahesh's police officer still would get leaked."

Puri continued, “In the film Nasser tells, “Krishna Manohar IPS... Batch Number 32567". I felt that if I write dialogue with batch number it will be heavy. But I was unaware that IPS will have batch numbers. I decided to look at it at the shooting time but continued using last numbers of my phone number 32567 and completed the shoot in a hurry. My IPS friends did not even ask 'ee batch number entra'. We planned to remake the film with Salman Khan. After watching two scenes, he said 'Cinema Bagundi.. Nenu Chesta'. One day when I took police uniform to sets, Salman asked 'why is this?". Salman doesn't know that he was a cop till he was told in the sets."
