A rampaging India put on an all-round performance to crush arch-rivals Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS) in the 22nd match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at The Old Trafford yesterday. Rohit Sharma led the way for India with a brilliant 140 off 113 balls, winning the Man of the Match award, while Kuldeep Yadav helped get rid of Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman in a destructive spell to trigger a collapse for the Pakistan team.

This was India’s seventh straight win over Pakistan in World Cups. It was a clinical performance. Twitter erupted after India’s dominating win over Sarfaraz’s men, with many on the either side of border mocking Pakistan’s poor performance. The Pakistan skipper is being trolled in social media platforms for two reasons.

1. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan before the start of the game had advised Sarfaraz Ahmed to bat first, if he wins the toss. Sarfaraz, however, chose to bowl, though he won the toss. Fans on social media could not keep calm and proceeded to troll the Pakistan captain for not heeding PM’s advice.

2. Sarfaraz Ahmed yawn during India’s innings was spotted by Internet and he was mocked for his lack of intensity after his sides’ dismal performance with the ball.
