Right away after wrapping up Rangasthalam, Sukumar penned a script that had period substance in it. As Prince declined the subject, Sukumar prepared an action thriller on the lines of 1-Nenokkadine. This time, Mahesh said neither 'yes' nor 'no' to the director which eventually got the precious time of the director wasted.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu showed interest on working with F2 director Anil Ravipudi. Sensing that more time would be wasted with Mahesh Babu's project, Sukumar preferred Stylish Star for his next. This is an unexpected jolt to Mahesh Babu.
Earlier, veteran top heroine Vijayashanthi was approached by Allu Arjun and Trivikram's film team for a crucial role in the film. Since, she didn't give her nod due to hectic work in election campaigning, Tabu was roped in for Allu Arjun's film. Interestingly, Vijayashanthi was chosen by Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi's film team for an important role. Somehow, this appears to be a tit for tat by Mahesh Babu on Allu Arjun.
That's not the end of Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun's indirect war! Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru was locked for Sankranthi release. And now, Allu Arjun's new film makers are contemplating to release their film in the same season ensuring a direct war between Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun with their films.
Though all the above instances make us believed that there is really a cold war triggered between the two stars, movie lovers are taking them light and stating them as bunch of co-incidences.
