Renu Reveals Pawan, Akira Secrets

Renu Desai, former wife of Power Star Pawan Kalyan of late is coming forward and making startling revelations about her ex husband though she is getting angry reactions from his diehard fans. It is known that Renu after leading a life of a single woman for many years, finally decided to start a new life by getting married once again.

Renu Desai revealed how she got a chance to romance Pawan Kalyan on debut. She said, “When I was an upcoming model in Pune, Puri Jagannath happened to see my photo. Before the launch of Badri, he got my phone number and met me in Mumbai. He told me that he got a role in Badri but at that time I was not at all interested. I told him that I cannot do sir; I am not the right choice for the heroine. Puri however convinced me saying it is a good opportunity.

Then I asked him who the hero in the film is. I did not hear Pawan Kalyan name at that time. I was unaware of South heroes except Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. I do not know Pawan Kalyan. He told me that he is the brother of Chiranjeevi and became a star with Tholi Prema. I told him since I have to shoot for six months, I should speak to Pawan Kalyan. I met Pawan Kalyan for the first time in Ramanaidu Studios.”

On her son Akira’s future, Renu revealed, “Akira’s tastes and goals change every year. One year, he says he wishes to become a cricketer. The next year he says he wishes to learn music. Once he can take his own decisions and tell me that he will choose this profession, I will say yes to him. Currently he should concentrate on his studies.”
