Janasena Faces First Polls
Janasena Faces First Polls

Having gone through the statuses of three major political parties of AP, who are contesting in the general elections, it is understood that these are the first general elections to Janasena political party while they could be the last elections either for TDP or for YSRCP. Here is the story.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan floated Janasena political party in 2014. However, instead of contesting, he extended his support to TDP then. And now, Janasena has formed a grand alliance with CPI, CPM and BSP and is contesting in all constituencies of AP along with other parties. This is the first time Janasena is contesting in the poll battle. Moreover, Janasena chief assured to his fans that he would serve people on political dais for 25 years irrespective of successes and failures. As such, Janasena is expected to play a vital role in AP's politics for a long time.

Chandrababu Naidu led TDP was defeated by the Congress party in 2004 and 2009 elections. Had Janasena not supported TDP in 2014, people could have forgotten the party by now. But then, instead of availing the great opportunity to rule the state with better governance, TDP indulged in corruption practice through land, sand and liquor mafia. If at all, the party loses the elections due to an intense anti-incumbency, it should strive hard for its survival. CBN will turn 75 for next elections and he could do nothing in that old age. On the other hand his son Nara Lokesh is generating hilarious comedy in public meets in spite of being a politician. Not only politicians of other parties, but also most of the TDP loyalists are of the opinion that Lokesh is not fit to lead TDP in the future. As a result, it appearrs, TDP faces last elections now. Of course, if at all the party gets victory with a thumping majority, it can bounce back with flying colours.

YSR Congress party was founded in 2011.Even before the party got launched, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been desperately making various attempts to become the CM of AP state. When his father YSR was dead, he tried to become the CM with the support of PRP. However, Megastar Chiranjeevi gave a humiliating jolt to YS Jagan turning down his proposal. It was due to Janasena's support to TDP, YSRCP couldn't get the power in 2014. Pathetically, YS Jagan faces the heat of Power Star for this year's general elections too. If at all, YSRCP gets defeated this time as well, the party will lose its cadre and gets weaker and no wonder it may get disappeared by next general elections. The party's key leader Vijaya Sai Reddy, himself, humbly asserted that it may happen soon.
