NTR Mahanayakudu: Deficits On Day One

Nandamuri Balakrishna made NTR Biopic as his most prestigious project. In fact, buzz was extremely optimistic until the release of first part NTR Kathanayakudu. Considering NTR’s glory and some engaging moments, critics too lauded the film as right tribute to the legendary actor.

However, normal movie goers did not like the movie as much as critics loved it. They apparently did not like the way NTR’s film journey was shown just by showing various characters he played on screen. As we all know, Kathanayakudu ended as an epic disaster throwing buyers into huge losses.

Due to the disaster result of Kathanayakudu, Ntr Mahanayakudu failed to generate any interest among movie buffs. To respect NTR another time, critics gave decent to good ratings for Mahanayakudu as well. However, day one collections are shocking trade pundits and the response is a big embarrassment for the makers.

Ntr Mahanayakudu failed to recover even rentals and deficits started from day one itself from many places. The Krish directed film collected Rs 1.66 Cr in Telugu states, 25 lakhs from rest of India and 36 lakhs in overseas. And the 1st day total worldwide share is 2.27 Cr.
