Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika is getting rave reviews for her stunning performance on screen. Despite the mixed reviews for the screenplay and direction, everyone is showering praises on Kangana Ranaut's powerpacked performance. However the filmmakers delight is marred by the war of words between Kangana Ranaut, her sister Rangoli and director Krish. Entire industry got split between Kangana and Krish with celebrities taking sides.

In the midst of all this, many wondered why Vijayendra Prasad who penned story for Manikarnika and who showed the power of Baahubali remained silent. Vijayendra Prasad who till recently showered praises on Kangana for the direction and who was rumoured to be the person behind Kangana and Krish controversy, finally responded to the controversy.

Vijayendra Prasad with his reply, washed off his hands saying, "I'm not there physically on the sets of Manikarnika to see who has directed what. But both Krish and Kangana have given inputs for the script, both have directed it and both are creative people. Some directors take the only script as their input and few elevate that to the next level with their vision. Both such people get succeeded. Now that the film has worked, let's enjoy this success."
