Not only fans but also movie lovers go delirious at the mere mention of Mega Star Chiranjeevi name on silver screen. Many filmmakers try to cash in to the craze by referring to his name, scenes and songs in their films on screen. However, his son Mega Power Star Ram Charan gave shock to all by insisting on deleting his dad Chiranjeevi's name from a song in his upcoming entertainer Sye Raa.
It is known that Chiranjeevi is starring in a biopic on India's first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy titled Sye Raa under the direction of Surender Reddy. Lyricist Sirivennla Seetharama Sastry penned a song singing praises of the valor of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.
Sastry included the word Chiranjeevi many times in the song. However Ram Charan insisted on deleting the word though included aptly. Cherry according to Sirivennela felt that it gives wrong signal that they are self boasting rather than bringing out true emotions.
Sirivennela got bowled by Ram Charan's logical thinking and down to earth personality. The film stars Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Tamannaaah, Nayanatara, Jagapathi Babu, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupati, Huma Qureshi in important roles.
