VVR 1st Film That Beats Baahubali 2

Rajamouli's directorial venture Baahubali 2 registered astronomical numbers in all areas of Telugu states. Owing to the film's wider release, the film's larger than life factor and tickets hike resulted in the film got never imaginable collections. 

Post the release of Baahubali 2, no Telugu film has crossed Baahubali 2's day one and other records in any area. Eventually, filmmakers started promoting their films as non-Baahubali 2's record. 

However, for the first time post Baahubali  2's release, a film broke its record in Ceded area. And the film is none other than Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama. 

Baahubali 2 collected Rs.6 crores share on day one of its release in Ceded. VVR collected Rs.7.20 crores on the day one thus created a rare record of sorts.
