Rashmika Doing It For Dear Comrade

Heroines very often go for makeover as filmmakers main focus will usually be on male actors. In fact, an actress role in commercial films is restricted for glamour exhibition and nothing much we can expect other than that. However, in heroine centric films, they get scope to do something atypical.

Coming to the actual point, Rashmika Mandanna of Chalo and Geetha Govindam fame got a golden opportunity to play a cricketer in her ongoing film Dear Comrade where she is romancing happening hero Vijay Devarakonda. This is second time romance for the duo after Geetha Govindam.

Rashmika is frequently practicing cricket to learn the techniques of the game. Guess what, the actress accepted to cut short her hair to play the role of a cricketer. When her director Bharat Kamma asked her whether she will trim her hair, she readily accepted it. The efforts she’s putting in for the role, Rashmika is winning accolades from the team.

Dear Comrade is in the mid of shooting and the film is slated for release in summer.
