Lagaan Strategy Didn’t Work For NTR!

Ntr Biopic starring Natsimha Balakrishna is nearing completion. Directed by Krish, the film is being made as two parts- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. While first part releases on January 9th, the second part will hit the screens for Sankranthi.

Initially, they didn’t have plans to release the film as two parts. But, they have altered their plans because of a strong reason. After locking the script for more than four hours, they approached management of multiplexes, with a proposal of two intervals which was opposed by the multiplex management.

It is known that, Aamir Khan’s Lagaan also had lengthy runtime and the film had two intervals then when there was no multiplex culture in India. But, now multiplex business is nearly 40 per cent. So, makers of Ntr Biopic had decided to make the movie in two parts.

They later added extra scenes to further elevate NTR’s character. We hear that, duration of two parts will be close to 5 to 5 and half hours.
