Dil Raju Clarifies, Did Nani Say No?

Earlier we reported that, star producer Dil Raju acquired Telugu remake rights of Tamil film 96 starring Vijay Sethupathy and Trisha. Dil Raju liked the film very much, so that he shelled out a fancy amount to acquire Telugu rights of the film which is slated for release on October 4th.

There were reports that, Natural Star Nani was approached to play lead role in 96 Telugu version. However, Dil Raju’s camp clarified saying, they haven’t yet approached any actor, though they confirmed of the producer buying Telugu remake rights of the film.

Dil Raju’s statement reads: “As reported in the media, we will be doing the Telugu remake of #96TheMovie which is releasing in Tamil on the 4th of October. Everything else which is being reported is speculation. We will announce the casting and crew at an appropriate time.”

Many wonder why Dil Raju released the statement. They doubt whether Nani said no to star in the film.
