Disease Director In Dilemma!

Director Maruthi was initially branded as Adult maker for making youthful entertainers like Ee Rojullo and Bus Stop. He also co-produced numerous numbers of youthful romantic entertainers. After the release of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy starring Natural star Nani, opinion on Maruthi was changed. Stars and audience believed that, Maruthi can also make family entertainers.

But, Maruthi stuck to disease formula and continued to make routine kind of films with his lead actors in his next films were seen suffering from various diseases. Nani was a memory loss youngster in BBM, Venkatesh was a kind-hearted man in Babu Bangaram, Sharwanand has OCD problem in Mahanubhavudu and Sumanth Shailendra and his father in Brand Babu played by Murali Sharma are obsessed with brands and believe that one’s personality and character can be defined by the brands they wear.

In Maruthi’s latest directorial Shailaja Reddy Alludu, lead actors Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel, Ramya Krishna and Murali Sharma were seen in egoistic characters.

Meanwhile, Maruthi is now termed as disease director for writing lead characters in a way that they suffer from any disease or disorder in his films. Analysts’ advice Maruthi should come up with a different subject for his next film where any of the characters should not have any disorder like in his previous films.

It is heard that, Maruthi is in dilemma with criticism on him for routine stuff in his films. He is now said to be working on a different and unique subject for his next film.
