Wash Faces And Have Coffee

Kadiri Venkata Reddy or Kv Reddy was a renowned filmmaker in Telugu cinema. He made many blockbusters like Sri Krishna Satya, Sri Krishnarjuna Yudduam, Jagadeka Veeruni Katha, Maya Bazaar, Donga Ramudu, Patala Bhairavi, Gunasundari Katha etc. 

His Gunasundari Katha broke all records in 1949. Such was the craze for the film that a theatre in Rajahmundry used to screen three shows even in the night. The last show used to complete by 5 AM. 

Theatre management used to provide movie lovers equipment to brush their teeth and water to wash their faces. They even used to come up with announcements, 'Pakkane unna hotel teripinchi uncham. Mukhalu kadukkuni... Coffee lu taagi vellavachunu'.
