Naga Shaurya made banging debut as hero with Oohalu Gusagusalade which was a runaway hit. Later, he faced continuous debacles. Naga Shaurya bounced back with Chalo which marked maiden production venture for the young hero.
Naga Shaurya faced another flop recently with Ammammagarillu. The film directed by Sundar Surya is ending as a disaster. Many thought, limited budget was spent on the film. However, producers are said to have invested nearly 16 to 18 crores budget which is far high to Shaurya’s market value.
Producer of Ammammagarillu indirectly attacked Shaurya for betraying him. The producer revealed that, he financed for Shaurya’s production venture Chalo as the hero promised him of giving his call sheets for Ammammagarillu.
“You are a hero with good market value. When a producer and director approached you to narrate a story, you gave them your nod besides discussing about your remuneration. They have promised to give more pay than what you have demanded. They even gave you the complete pay immediately, besides financing amount for the film Chalo.
After starting the shoot, you delayed it citing call sheet issues. We didn’t utter a single word. We waited for long period. You spent lakhs only for your costumes. Finally, shoot had come to end. As the release date deadline approached, you didn’t bother to promote the film. How can you betray such innocent people? You will definitely realize your mistake. We will be waiting for the day,” said the producer.
