Hindi film industry looking upon South is not at all new. Many of the Telugu super hits are remade in Hindi and the trend still continues. Here is one Bollywood star who seems to be in love with Tollywood.

Varun Dhawan, son of top filmmaker David Dhawan established himself as one of the highest paid celebrities flooring audience with his powerful performances. While speaking to scribes, Varun openly expressed his love for South films.

Varun Dhawan who is promoting upcoming entertainer October releasing on April 13, expressed his desire to work in the direction of South Indian top directors Shankar and Rajamouli. 

'Ram Charan is my good friend. He advised me to learn Telugu. I am tremendously influenced by South cinema. I just loved watching films like Arjun Reddy or Mercury. Apart from commercial, Malayalam films are rich in content,' Varun added.
