When mega producer Allu Aravind announced a Rs.500 crore Ramayana trilogy in the month of May, last year, one could hardly believe if the project would really get materialised. And true to their predictions, there had been no update on the project while the media houses have already reported the proposed project was shelved.

However, here is a breathtaking update on Ramayana project. According to the reports, the movie is very much on and the makers had an agreement done with UP government during the investors summit in Lucknow recently. One of the producers of the film Madhu Manthena divulged the news to the media.

Ramayana will be made in 3D format in three parts. The film will be made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. As the makers collaborated with UP government, extensive shooting schedules maybe planned in Ayothya and other holy cities of UP.

Hitherto, it was speculated that Mega Power Star Ram Charan would don the protagonist lord Sriram character in the film. Since it's going to be the costliest film of India, Allu Aravind may not let other heroes roped in for lord Sriram's role and so the chances are high Ram Charan would get locked to reprise lord Sriram's role. However, unless an official word of horse' mouth is out, gossips maybe mushroomed on the cast and crew of the project. Meanwhile, Bollywood producers Madhu Manthena and Namit Malhotra will be joining hands with Allu Aravind for this mega project.
