Tollywood witnessed some thrilling moments this year particularly with the releases of Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback film Khaidi Number 150 and Rajamouli's Baahubali 2. As we all know, Shankardada Zindababad was the last film of Chiranjeevi before making an entry into politics. The movie was released in 2007.

After a huge gap of a decade, his comeback film Khaidi Number 150 released for Sankranthi season of 2017 and scored a humongous success. There was no such moment in the world's cine history, where a number one hero gave up movies and maintained the same charisma and stardom even after a decade of gap and ensuring the biggest blockbuster with his comeback film.  As such, Chiranjeevi created a rare feat with KN 150. Obviously, he is considered to be the 'Hero of the Year 2017'.

Among other heroes who left their mark in 2017 was Young Rebel Star Prabhas, who shot to nation wide fame with Baahubali 2. However, like everyone, even Prabhas may admit the fact that major credit of the film's success goes to Rajamouli.

Vijay Devarakonda turned out to be the heartthrob of youth with Arjun Reddy. It seems the young chap has a bright future for sure. Natural Star Nani shined with Nenu Local and MCA's super hit results. His Ninnu Kori stood as above average. However, it's high time Nani scored a huge hit which is on par with the range of big hits of big stars.

All other heroes tasted mixed results in 2017.
