It was 1932. Telugu people found a new way of entertainment with the first talky film titled 'Bhaktha Prahlada' was released. Obviously, the film became the first industry hit of Tollywood. Munipalle Subbhaih played the role of demon Hiranyakasipa in the film.

Thereupon another mythological film titled 'Bhaktha Prahlada' was released in 1942. Later, third Bhaktha Prahlada hit screens in 1967 which had mind blowing performance of SV Ranga Rao as Hiranyakasipa.

According to the latest reports, director Gunasekhar has prepared a story titled 'Hiranyakasipa'. He has recently narrated the script to Victory Venkatesh and the senior star showed interest in doing the most powerful role, which was essayed by SVR then. We'll be knowing more updates on this exciting mythological entertainer in near future. 

Gunasekhar has been renowned to make movies of different genres with huge sets erected in his films. Hiranyakasipa concept, itself, is a great idea and the film may work wonders at the box office.
