Kangna Injured on Manikarnika Sets!

Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut has reportedly sustained injuries while shooting a sword fight sequence for her new flick Manikarnika in Krish direction. Present schedule of the film is happening in Hyderabad and the team is shooting a fight sequence on Kangna and co-star Nihar Pandya. 

As per the scene requirements, Kangna is expected to duck when Nihar swings the sword at her. Due to the wrong timing and call from fight master went wrong, the sword has directly hit and pierced in between her eyebrows creating a deep skin cut injury. Director Krish immediately rushed Kangna to Apollo hospital and admitted in ICU where she got 15 stitches. Shooting of the film is temporarily called off as Kangna is likely to be discharged only in next week and will be under close observation of doctors for time being.

Problem is, Kangna Ranaut opposed the usage of body double for shooting of action scenes. Manikarnika, Rani of Jhansi is a war based biopic on Jhansi Laxmi Bhai. Hollywood action master Nick Powell is choreographing these action scenes.
