Director Ram Gopal Varma's 'Sarkar 3' carried negative reports on the first day of its release. Except Big B Amitabh Bachchan's performance in the film, everything in the movie was mercilessly lambasted by the critics.
In spite of its debacle reports, it was thought the movie would generate some respectable collections in its opening weekend. With the dismay of makers, shockingly less collections were accumulated by the film.
Reports say, the film fetched Rs.2.10 crores on Friday, Rs.2.25 crores on Saturday and Rs.2.40 crores on Sunday in India. On a whole, the movie collected Rs.6.75 crores gross at the end of its first weekend's run.
Interestingly, collections of small budget films of Tollywood are on par with the all India collections of 'Sarkar 3' which indicated how pathetically RGV's range depreciated at the box office.
