Satakarni Should Go a Long Way!

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's historical magnum opus 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni' has done a pre release business of Rs.46.80 crores. The film would need around Rs.49 crores share to get into profit zone. 

According to the trade reports 'GPS' minted Rs.12+ crores of world wide share on the day one of its release which includes Rs.9.42 crores share in AP and Telangana states. In Nizam, the film raked in Rs.1.71 crores on day one. In this territory, GPS should collect Rs.9+ crores to reach the break even and so is the case with other areas. As such, the movie should get steady collections for two weeks to reach collections break even. This festive season is expected to bring cheers to the team GPS with rocking collections. 

GPS has veteran heroine Hema Malini who played Balakrishna's mother role in the film. Shriya essayed female lead role. Chirantan Bhatt has composed music of the movie. The movie was directed by Krish on First Frame Entertainment.
