BJP to Announce These Sops in New Year?

Having got nonplussed facing the ire of common people across India with demonetization, some of the activists of the Bjp started spreading some sops in social media to be implemented by the Modi's government from 1st of January, 2017. As there is neither an official announcement nor a clue delivered by the government, there mayn't be any credibility with the rumours of these sops. Yet, let's analyse them how far would they be possible to be implemented.

* Petrol and diesel prices may come down to Rs.35 and Rs.28 respectively. Since the crude oil's prices were depreciated drastically at the international market, the Bjp government could have reduced the prices long back. But then, nothing of that sort was happened.

* Gas prices may also fall down to Rs.218 while dals' would be priced at below Rs.50 per kilogram. Train, bus and air ticket prices may come down to 30% reduction.

* Income tax may not be levied upto Rs.4 lakhs. 2% of tax will be levied if the taxable income is between Rs.4 and 5 lakhs and it will be 5% upto Rs.7.5 lakhs of taxable income. If at all the overall income exceeds Rs.70 lakhs, a sum of Rs.14+ lakhs and 30% tax will be levied on the said tax. Well, salaried people expected there would be no tax upto Rs.5 lakhs but the government might turn down their wish in spite of getting huge reerves of currency in banks.

* According to another version, Income Tax system would be abolished and 'Banking Transaction Tax' would replace it.

* The Bjp government is planning to implement a new scheme 'Garib Kalyan Yozan'. Nevertheless, critics informed that the scheme could be a mere copy of previous schemes such as 'Pradhan Manthri Rozghar Yojana' and 'Rajiv Aawas Yojana'.

* Although above rumours are making rounds on social media, people are not trusting if these sops would be implemented. It is a known news that the Bjp government broke innumerable election promises which include bringing back the black money from foreign banks and AP's special status.
