Chiranjeevi’s 150th film currently in production as a remake to Tamil hit ‘Kaththi’ has big space for a powerful villain character which was done by Neil Nithin Mukesh in the original. In fact, producer Ramcharan and director VV Vinayak were playing with various options in locking a big artist for this role. Initially, there were few reports on Jagapathi Babu or Mohan Babu would be locked.
However, none of them are reported to have showed big interest on it. Though JB heard the line and his characterization, non-availability of call sheets is said to be the basic reason he left the opportunity. Given the ground reality on differences between Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu, there’s no way latter can accept it.
Finally Vinayak is hurried to close Tarun Arora, husband of yesteryear heroine Anjala Jhaveri for the role. Although an official confirmation is yet to be made, Tarun Arora could be a best choice.
