Big stars of Tollywood, today, are charging around Rs.25 crores as remunerations. Despite having an ultimate craze, some stars do not prefer their remunerations to be revealed in media while some others stars desperate about their remunerations and awards in such a way some fake numbers are also being circulated in media. Even then, difference of any two big stars seems to be minimal.
However, when Megastar Chiranjeevi was ruling the roost of Tollywood as a number one, he made the clear difference of him with other heroes. When he was charging Rs.1.25 crores remuneration, other big stars were paid around 25% of him. And when Chiranjeevi left the industry in 2007, he was paid Rs.7 crores which was almost 70% higher to that of next big stars. As such, no wars of stars on remunerations in media were seen in those days.
As Chiranjeevi makes a comeback with 150th venture, once again the discussion of remunerations in Tollywood is going on. Since Mega Power Star Ram Charan, himself, is producing the movie on his own banner Konidela Production Company, the commitments on remunerations may not become a big issue. As per trade talk, Chiranjeevi would have been paid Rs.30+ crores, had he done this film with another production company.
