Yesterday’s release of ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’ from director Ramesh Varma boosted off with huge promotions. The unique freshness as sensed in poster design and other publicity forms hasn’t got a right justification on big screens.

Starring Naga Shaurya and Palak Lalwani as main leads, in fact Ilayaraja’s music also failed to lift the falling standards in narration. Reports say, ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’ might remain as one more disappointing flick in Naga Shaurya’s career after he got a promising take-off with first two to three films.

At a time when youthful romantic movies are easily succeeding at Box Office with minimal efforts, it’s time for director Ramesh Varma and entire team to sit and analyze the causes which damaged their final output. As of now, it’s only posters that are interesting but the matter inside this film is shallow. As Ramesh Varma comes from promotional/poster designing platform, he left his skills restricted to the same.
