Chiranjeevi Fires on CBN and Media

Having shocked with Rajahmundry Pushkaralu stampede, the former union minister and MP of Rajyasabha, Megastar Chiranjeevi participated in a press meet convened by APCC today. Speaking to the media men Chiranjeevi got enraged on the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's complete failure of administration at Pushkaralu ghats. 

" This is a total failure of the government. They prefered publicity stunts rather than to provide facilities to the pilgrims. Chandrababu Naidu should own up responsibility and resign immediately. Recently, when a BJP's leader happened visit Godavari Pushkara Ghats, he noticed that there was no involvement of AP's endowments minister in pushkara preparations. However, a TDP's minister clarified that all the responsibilities were owned up by the CM, himself. As such, will CBN come up with his resignation? The government's advisor( Parakala Prabhakar) has done over action at Pushkara ghats along with his supporters. Media's telecast says CBN was shedding tears with the news of deaths of pilgrims. Why this support to Chandrababu? Doesn't media have responsibility on projecting the tears of the members of the families of died instead of showing bias on CBN? Chandrababu announced Rs.10 lakhs ex gratia but it is not sufficient. We demand him to announce Rs.25 lakhs ex gratia for the victims. It is also upto Chandrababu's conscience whether to resign for his CM post or not," said Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, eye witnesses are saying that CBN's special puja for two hours was the main reason for the stampede. The devotees had been restricted to make an entry into pushkara ghat since 4:30am and were allowed only after CBN's puja completed.
