'Robot 2' on Cards

This is one of the highly circulated gossips in Indian film circles but the news is almost going to become a reality because director Shankar busy with release of Vikram and Amy Jackson’s ‘Manoharudu’ hasn’t signed his next till now. Soon after the completion of ‘Manoharudu’ for Shankar and ‘Lingaa’ for Rajinikanth by end of this year, the magnificent combo might take up the sequel to ‘Robot’ with never heard budget and never seen visual effects.

Shankar is a man of magnanimity. A budget of minimum 100 Crores is his range and nothing less than that is acceptable by his standards. Reliance Entertainments is in discussion with Shankar regarding Rs.250 Crores as a possible budget they can allot for ‘Robot 2’ only if Rajinikanth or Kamal Hasan gets on the board.
