First Day Reports of 'Manam' and 'Vikramasimha'

The much awaited movies of the season, Akkinenis multi-starrer 'Manam' and Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Vikramasimha' were released on 23rd of May across the globe. In fact, the talk of 'Manam' was already out at the end of its premiers yesterday and it has been unanimous positive response from the audiences today. The movie has been made as a promising romantic and family entertainer for the rest of the summer season. Apart from Akkinenis trios, ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, Akhil's cameo appearance in the climax is mind boggling.

On the other hand, Rajinikanth's 'Vikramasimha' received mixed responses. Though the makers have tried for something new with motion capture technology, not many people seem to have connected with this technology. Soundarya's narration in the first half was said to be dead slow, while the second half of the movie is little better. On the positive note, Rajini's dialogues at intervals and AR Rehaman's background score were good. The box office fate of the movie depends on Rajini's charisma and motion capture technology in the movie.
