Cabinet Shocks Them with Polavaram Authority

With just six days ahead of the polling day in Seemandhra, the union cabinet today has approved 'Polavaram Project Authority'. This is going to be an autonomous body under the union Water Resources Ministry. The government will sanction 90% of funds for the proposed project while the balance 10% will be born by the state government. With this sudden approval of the project, the congress party has surely given a big shock to opposition parties. Meanwhile, the Seemandhra congress election committee's chairman Chiranjeevi phoned to Jairam Ramesh and thanked for sanctioning special authority to Polavaram Project.
