A source shares, "Pawan Kalyan was highly impressed with Sujeeth’s work and conveyed his willingness to return for a sequel if the director comes up with another powerful script. With the actor’s home banner recently hinting at discussions on OG 2, anticipation among fans has reached a new high."

The source adds ". Industry sources indicate that DVV Danayya, who produced OG, may not be associated with the sequel. If that happens, Pawan Kalyan could either back the project through his own banner or join hands with another leading production house."
