Yash Reveals Real Reason Behind Toxic Movie Delay

Yash has shared why his movie Toxic is taking more time to release. The film was first planned for March 19. Then it was moved to June 4 because of the Iran Israel conflict. Now that date is also changed. Fans are waiting for a new release date. Yash said the movie is ready but the team wants to focus on global release and strong partners. He believes releasing it at the right time will help the film reach more people.

In a chat with Variety India, Yash said that in the West films are sold after they are finished. Big money is involved so buyers want to see the full film first. He added that making a film is not just about writing. A producer also has to think about cost, logistics, and business. Yash said he has faith in his fans. They understand that the team is trying to do something big. He wants to tell Indian stories with pride and show our craft to the world.

Actress Tara Sutaria is also part of Toxic. She said she knows fans are eager to watch the film. She feels the same way. But she believes the delay will help the film get a bigger global reach. She called it worth the wait. Toxic is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. Geetu is also the director. The movie has a big cast with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.

The film was announced in 2023. It is shot in Kannada and English at the same time. Dubbed versions will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The story is called Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. With Yash’s KGF success, expectations are high. The team wants a proper global plan before announcing the final date.
