Maruthi targeting Sankranti with hilarious entertainer

Maruthi who rose to stardom with small films like Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop reached new heights with hits like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Mahanubhavudu. However, he hit a roadblock with Pakka Commercial.

However, he managed to convince Prabhas and did The Raja Saab and the film which released amidst huge expectations turned out to be  a disaster. Under these circumstances, no one is coming to do a project with him.

Recently rumours spread that he would direct Mega Prince Varun Tej, but Varun locked a project with his sister Niharika Konidela. Now, inside talk is he is set to target Sankranti festival with a film titled Happy Pongal. He already finished the script for the project and looking for the young actor.

It has to be seen which actor will dare to do a project with Maruthi. Inside talk is the project may be bankrolled by Maruthi's friend Bunny Vas or Mythri Movie Makers.
