Speculation on Akhanda Thaandavam OTT deal

Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu's Akhanda Thaandavam is racing for a grand release on 5 December.

Expectations are high on the project as it is the sequel to the hit film Akhanda. The film stars Samyukta and Pragya Jaiswal as the female leads with Aadhi Pinisetty as the antagonist. The music for the film is tuned by Thaman.

Now speculation is increasing on the film's OTT deal. Inside talk is the makers earlier quoted Rs90crs for the OTT deal and Jio plus Hotstar which held discussions opted out of the race. Even Amazon Prime didnot show any interest.

Later the makers slashed the quote to Rs 75 crs and Netflix which held discussions finally agreed to ink the deal for Rs 65 rs. The official confirmation will be coming out in the coming days.

The film is produced in a lavish manner on 14 Reels Entertainments banner. The film is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam apart from Telugu.
