Here is the real reason behind Peddi delay

All eyes are on Ram Charan's upcoming project with Peddi. The film directed by Buchhi Babu Sana was supposed to finish the shooting part by now.

However the film got delayed and sources reveal the real reason behind it. A source shares “the scale of 'Peddi' has grown far beyond the initial plan." "Every schedule has been extended because of the detailing involved - from action choreography to period setting. The team doesn’t want to compromise on authenticity,"

An insider revealed “Ram Charan is deeply involved in shaping every aspect of the film. Even Buchi Babu is reviewing footage, discussing tone, and even working on scenes that don’t meet his standards. Naturally, that takes more time. Hence, the delay. However, the team is confident of wrapping the shoot by early January 2026."

The makers already completed shooting in Vizag, Rajamundry and Hyderabad and also erected a village set depicting the 1980s backdrop. The source adds “The delay is not due to disorganisation but because of ambition. When you have someone like Ram Charan, who’s coming off 'RRR' and stepping into a completely new zone, you want every frame to look world-class.”
