Mallidi Vasishta on Rajinikanth Basha sequel

Movie lovers cannot forget his evergreen classic blockbuster Basha. For long rumours spread about Basha sequel. Basha set a new trend in commercial entertainers and many films came drawing inspiration from Basha. During those days, sequel trends were not on or else director Suresh Krishna would have done the sequel for the film longtime.

It is known that Mallidi Vasishta shot to fame with Bimbisara. After that he planned a sequel to Basha. Producer Dil Raju got the commitment from Mallidi Vasishta to do a film. As such Mallidi Vasishta planned a project with Rajinikanth and he also managed to impresses Rajinikanth and got his green signal.

Inside talk was that film would be like a sequel to Basha but for Vasishta revealed that he himself wasnot satisfied witht he story and so he didnot take it forward. It is known that sometimeback rumours spraed that Rajinikanth and Mallidi Vasishta will be doing a project.  Currently Vasishta is doing Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara.
