Fans throng as Rajinikanth lands in Mysore for Jailer2

Super Star Rajinikanth  is starring in a film titled Jailer2. The film directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar is generating tremendous interest among movie lovers as it is the sequel to the hit film Jailer.

The film's shooting is currently underway in Mysore and when Rajinikanth landed in Bilikere, people thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of the super star.

In the video that is going viral, Rajinikanth can be seen smiling widely and looking overwhelmed as he comes out of the sunroof of his car to greet the crowd. Numerous people can be seen calling out for him with their phones whipped out. As fans follow his car, he can even be seen gesturing to them to be careful. The video also shows the police and Rajinikanth’s security trying to manage the crowd as a large convoy of vehicles with the film’s team, including Rajinikanth, passes by.

The film stars Mohan Lal in the cameo and Natasimha Balakrishna is playing the role of a powerful police officer. The film is up for release on 14 Aug 2025 and it stars Ramya Krishnan, Fahadh Faasil, Mirnaa Menon, and Shiva Rajkumar in important roles.
