Ranveer Singh To Kickstart Spy Action Thriller With Uri Director

Ranveer Singh who has scored blockbuster with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani last year with Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar's direction is currently busy with Rohit Shetty's converse film, Singham Again which is slated to release this August 15. His next Don 3 was announced recently and also desi superhero flick, Shaktimaan. As Don 3 and Shaktimaan are in pre-production stages and his immediate next, Don 3 will take time to hit the floors, he wanted to proceed with another film meanwhile.

Reports suggest that Ranveer gave his nod for an action film, with ‘Uri’ director Aditya Dhar. The untitled movie will start its shoot in April/May this year. According to bollywood reports, Ranveer Singh is all set to joined forces with Aditya Dhar for a big-budget action thriller. The movie will go on floors this summer. The movie will revolve around the Indian Intelligence Agencies. 

After ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Aditya Dhar has been looking to create something special and is finally set to embark on a new journey with an action thriller led by Ranveer Singh. The film is set against the backdrop of Indian Intelligence Agencies and will see Ranveer in a completely new avatar.

Ranveer Singh will now work on Aditya Dhar’s next by May 2024, followed by 'Don 3' from August/September 2024, and 'Shaktimaan' from May/June 2025. Initially, Ranveer was scheduled to start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Baiju Bawra' in April 2024. Meanwhile, 'Don 3' was set to begin production in January 2025, followed by 'Shaktimaan' in the latest part of the same year.
