The Centre will soon resolve the  controversial Babli issue, said Veerappa Moily, the All-India Congress General  secretary, who is in charge of Congress affairs in Andhra Pradesh.

Moily who reached Hyderabad on Friday  held discussions with Chief Minister K Rosaiah at the Lake View Guest House here for over an hour. The Centre will soon find an amicable solution to the Babli issue. To this effect the Congress delegates and representatives from all parties will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on July 23.

When asked about Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy's Odarpu Yatra, Moily replied that it was his personal thing and  the Congress High Command has nothing  to do with it.

Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and  Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao were also present during the meeting.

Moily is scheduled  to attend a meeting at Ravindra Bharati at 6 p.m to release a Telugu translation of his Kanada book `Tembare’.

Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief  Minister K Rosaiah will also attend the Ravindra Bharathi function.
