Cong MLA Jayaprakash arrested

In a bid to neutralize Medak MP, Vijay Shanit’s arrest, the police on Saturday  arrested Jayaprakash Reddy, a Congress MLA from Sangareddy for making provocative statements.

The arrest has been made at the behest  of Election Commission for making    provocative statements. However,  the  police were not clear on what charges they arrested the MLA.

Jayaprakash was arrested at his residence. The supporters of Jayaprakash resented the arrest and  tried to disrupt  the police.

Through these arrests the Government  wants to send a clear message that all the  parties are equal bfore the law be it  Congress or Telugu Desam or TRS.

Making  provocative  statements  and  creating  a  feeling of regionalism  has  become  the  trumpcard  of some political parties  to met their selfish ends.
