Jagan gets green signal from HC for 'Oarpu yatra'

With the misconceptions about Jaganmohan Reddy’s controversial Odarpu Yatra being cleared, the stage is now set for Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra .

Jaganmohan Reddy, the Congress MP from Kadapa, who is presently in New Delhi to attend a meeting of the Parliamentry Finance Committee met Veerappa Moily , the All India Congress general secretary, in-charge of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.

Interacting with the media after his meeting with Moily, Jagan said `` I was able to clear all the misconceptions the High Command had about Odarpu Yatra in Warangal district. Now I am happy that there are no differences with the High Command. ‘’

`` Moily has given me a green signal to go ahead with the Odarpu Yatra and now with the blessing s of the High Command I will take up the Odarpu Yatra and complete it by August. In fact Moily has expressed his appreciation of the tour, and the response I received during the Odarpu Yatra, ‘’ the Kadapa MP observed.

`` I will not tour in the Telangana districts till the by-elections are over. It’s only the Telangana Rashtra Samiti which politicized my tour. Please don’t drag me in to the Telangana controversy, the Kadapa MP pleaded.

``I have great respect for Sonia Gandhi. Please do not turn this into a stand-off between the party and me. Jagan told reporters.

The Odarpu Yatra now begins on June 8 from Srikakulam, according to sources.As reported earlier, Jagan was summoned to Delhi on Monday to explain his position on the controversial visit to Warangal district on Friday last.
